Mexi-Rollups


 

Simple Mexican roll-ups that are an easy-to-make appetizer and or crowd-pleasing snack!

Prep Time: 15 mins - Total Time: 15 mins - Servings: 40

Ingredients

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, or more to taste

1 (8 ounce) jar picante sauce

1 (7 ounce) can chopped green chilies

1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix

1 (15 ounce) package flour tortillas


Directions

Combine cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, picante sauce, green chiles, and seasoning mix in a large mixing bowl.

Spread some of the mixture over most of one tortilla, leaving a 1/2-inch border on one side. Roll up. Repeat with remaining tortillas and cream cheese mixture. Cut into 1- to 2-inch sections.


Tips

Spread mixture on almost all of tortilla, but leave about a 1/2 of an inch on one side without the mix. When you roll the tortilla, the mix has a tendency to spread out and this open gap will be filled with the mix already in the tortilla.
