One of my favourite dishes she makes is this easy mozzarella chicken with marinara sauce and mushrooms. It is super easy and quick to throw together using only mushrooms, chicken breasts, mozzarella, Italian seasoning, and marinara sauce. The best part is this is made in a single pan!

Ingredients
½ c. mushrooms, sliced
4 chicken breasts, skinless, boneless
¼ tsp salt
1 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
½ tbsp Italian seasoning
1 c. marinara sauce
How to make Easy Mozzarella Chicken with Marinara Sauce and Mushrooms
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F.
Step 2: To the casserole dish, add the chicken breasts and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and salt. Then, place the sliced mushrooms on top. Evenly pour the marinara sauce over the chicken and mushrooms and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Step 3: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, uncovered, until the chicken is completely cooked. Set the oven to BROIL in the last 4 minutes of cooking if desired.
