Popcorn in a special way


1 peck air popped corn
Snickers bars, 30 fun size pieces
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup melted chocolate
1 cup salted butter
1 cup salted peanuts
½ cup corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Melt the sugar along with the butter; add salt and corn syrup, boiling for 5 minutes. In the end add the baking soda, stirring well. Coat the popcorn with the mixture and transfer on a parchment lined pan. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts and mix. Bake the glazed popcorn into the preheated oven (200 C), for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, chop the snickers bars and when baked, drop them in, then return to oven for another 3 minutes. Let the Snickers popcorn cool and drizzle melted chocolate on top!
